"Artists
Helping Artists", is her motto. Pierrette has been taught by
artists who were very generous in sharing their knowledge, she has happily
done the same for others. She has taught adult and children classes. She
was Artist in Residence at the Centre Culturel Ste Famille Cultural Center
in Rockland Ontario for a period of 4 years. During that time, she organized
exhibitions for other artists and invited fellow painters to give 2 to
3 day workshops. Pierrette and fellow artist friend organized "plein
air" painting trips from 1990 to 2002. These five day excursions
were held twice a year. It was a wonderful way to meet fellow artists
from all over the country, exchange ideas and share information on what
is happening in the art communities. These outings were so successful
that they have continued with new organizers and are as popular as ever
with waiting lists for each "plein air" excursion.
